Screen Innovations - Screens & Smart Shading
Imagine Solutions is an authorized dealer of Screen Innovations, one of the most respected names in projection screens and motorized shading. What started as a projection screen company has grown into a full lineup we rely on for three different jobs: giving home theaters a better picture, controlling light and privacy inside the house, and holding up to real Texas weather outside it
Projection screens built for real rooms
Screen Innovations’ ambient-light-rejecting (ALR) materials are built for rooms that aren’t fully dark — living rooms, multipurpose media rooms, or spaces with windows — so picture quality holds up even with some light in the room. For dedicated theaters, fixed-frame screens deliver a clean, permanent picture, while motorized screens drop down for movie night and disappear into the ceiling the rest of the time, so the room can double as a living space.
Nano - motorized shades that disappear into the window
Nano is Screen Innovations’ interior shading system, built around one of the smallest shade cassettes on the market — as little as about 3.75 inches deep — so the housing tucks into the window trim instead of hanging off it. It’s available in single, dual, and manual configurations, comes in a wide range of designer housing colors and close to 100 fabric options, and can run on magnetic rechargeable, low-voltage, or standard power depending on the room. Once it’s in, it drives light control and privacy right alongside your lighting: closing the shades and dimming the lights for a movie, or opening them on a morning schedule, can all live in the same Control4, Lutron, or Savant scene.
Designed as part of the room, not bolted onto it
We don’t just mount a screen or a shade — we design the space around it: sizing and positioning a screen correctly for the projector and seating, and integrating shades with your lighting so a single scene dims the lights, closes the shades, and drops the screen together. This ties directly into our media & theater rooms, controlled lighting, and interior & exterior shades work.
KAOS — shading built for the outside of the house
KAOS is Screen Innovations’ outdoor shade line, engineered specifically for exposed patios, porches, and outdoor living areas — not just an indoor shade in a weatherproof shell. It uses a tensioned retention system designed to keep the fabric taut and in-track in high wind, heavy-duty fabric options built for sun and moisture, and the same motorized control ecosystem as their interior products, so an outdoor space can be part of the same automated scenes as the rest of the house. For Hill Country patios and lake houses that see real wind and sun, it’s a noticeably more durable option than a standard outdoor shade.
Where this comes together
We install Screen Innovations projection screens in dedicated home theaters and media rooms, Nano shades throughout living spaces and primary suites, and KAOS shades on patios and outdoor living areas — a popular combination for lake houses around Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls, where sun control and outdoor durability both matter. We serve clients across Marble Falls, Burnet, Horseshoe Bay, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Waco.
